Megan Costenoble

I joined LHD Lawyers in September 2020 as I wanted to be a part of a plaintiff firm that would allow me to grow as a professional and assist other people to get their life on track after being injured.

I have a Certificate IV in Legal Services which I completed whilst working and raising my children. I am a member of the Law Society of NSW and am currently enrolled in the Diploma in Law course through the Legal Professions Admission Board (LPAB).

My biggest achievement to date is that I am completeing this course whilst working fulltime and continuning to raise a family.

Prior to working at LHD Lawyers, I worked at other plaintiff and defendant personal injury and family law firms and worked my way up to my current position. These other areas of law, together with my own life experience have provided me with the exposure and compassion necessary to enable me to see things from the client’s perspective. The practice I work within mainly consists of common law work injury damages claim, workers compensation claims and motor vehicle accident claims. Our focus area deals with clients nationally including client’s in regional areas. I have been involved in many complex cases starting out with medical negligence and dust diseases to workers compensation, work injury damages, public liability and motor vehicle accidents.

I have assisted with claims from the initial enquiries through to filing in the Personal Injury Commission,  District and Supreme Courts all the way through to settlement and closure of claims. Two of my favourite parts of my role are when I get to see the transformation that our client’s and their families lives can go through and arming them with the knowledge to defend themselves into their future.
