As a Special Counsel of LHD Lawyers my role incorporates multiple responsibilities, and my areas of practice include negligence claims, motor vehicle (CTP) claims, employer’s liability, class actions, insurance claims, total & permanent disability claims and workers compensation claims.

I was admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of NSW in 1993 and am also admitted in the High Court of Australia. I commenced working as a solicitor in private practice in 1993 and I joined LHD Lawyers in 2011.

My areas of practice include negligence claims, motor vehicle (CTP) claims, employer’s liability, class actions, insurance claims, total & permanent disability claims and workers compensation claims.

As a Special Counsel of LHD my role incorporates multiple responsibilities. A significant proportion of my time is devoted to communicating with individual clients in respect to their matters. It is essential that I ensure that a client is not intimidated by the law. My advocacy experience enhances the potential of a client obtaining a negotiated resolution of their claim. If it is necessary to litigate a client’s claim, the forensic investigations skills I have developed maximises a client’s chances of success.

I also liaise with professional associations for whom I provide seminars and newsletter articles on issues relevant to members of the associations.

An important additional role is mentoring less experienced solicitors, a task I find professionally rewarding and one which enhances the excellent morale enjoyed by Solicitors working with LHD Lawyers.
