Linda Hanley

I joined LHD Lawyers in July 2025 after LHD Lawyers acquired Redlich’s Work Injury Lawyers.  Prior to the acquisition of Redlich’s by LHD Lawyers, I had been working at Redlich’s for approximately 11.5 years.

I am an Accredited Specialist in Personal Injury Law through the Law Institute of Victoria and therefore practice in almost all areas of Personal Injury Law, although my current practice is predominately focused on WorkCover matters.

My strong interest and desire to assist injured individuals initially began after my mother was injured in the workplace and struggled to navigate through the WorkCover system. Having seen and experienced the impact injuries have on the lives of injured individuals and their families, I developed an interest in helping others navigate complex legal and compensation systems.  I believe my personal history has made me the empathetic and compassionate lawyer I am today.

Over the years, I have gained extensive litigation experience through assisting my injured clients obtain what is rightfully theirs by way of legal entitlements and compensation.  I have issued matters in the Magistrates Court, County Court, Supreme Court and Court of Appeal of Victoria.  I see my work as a Personal Injury Lawyer as my vocational calling – a mechanism by which I can serve people whilst they are in the midst of pain and suffering.

I am fluent in English and Cantonese, and have a basic understanding of Mandarin.  I am particularly passionate about acting for community members who have difficulty accessing legal services due to cost or language barriers.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending most of my time with my family.  I especially delight in creating memories and teaching my three children, whom I consider my “pride, joy and hope”.
