Tegan Elsher

I am a New Enquiries Associate at LHD Lawyers based in Melbourne CBD Office. I have over six years’ experience of practicing law and now specialise in assisting clients with Workcover and TAC claims, guiding them through what can often be a complex and stressful process.

Before joining LHD in 2025, I built a diverse legal background, working across several practice areas. After graduating from Griffith University in Queensland with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice, I moved to Melbourne and began my career as a generalist solicitor handling matters in wills and estates, family law and criminal law appearing in the Magistrates’ Court, County Court and Federal Circuit Court. I then moved into public liability representing domestic and international insurers providing advice on indemnity, liability and financial risk. More recently, I worked as a Costs Lawyer ensuring the legal fees that are incurred in progressing each client’s claim are fair, reasonable and properly accounted for to maximise the settlement outcome the client receives.

Known for my compassionate and attentive approach, I am dedicated to supporting clients at the very start of their journey with LHD, ensuring they feel heard, understood, and confident about the next steps in securing their entitlements and moving forward with their lives.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my daughter and reading a good book in one of the many cafes across Melbourne.
