LHD Lawyers Strengthens Victorian Team with Redlich’s Work Injury Lawyers Acquisition

We’re proud to share that from 1 July 2025, Redlich’s Work Injury Lawyers, the personal injury division of Holding Redlich, will officially become part of LHD Lawyers.

This acquisition marks a strategic step in LHD’s continued growth and reinforces our commitment to delivering outstanding client service in personal injury and total and permanent disability (TPD) law across Australia.

A stronger team for Victoria

As part of the acquisition, LHD will assume conduct of a substantial portfolio of personal injury matters and welcome several experienced lawyers and support staff from Redlich’s into our Melbourne office. This will significantly expand our local capability and allow us to better serve clients across Victoria.

“This acquisition represents a significant milestone for our firm,” said John Abouchrouche, Managing Director of LHD Lawyers.
“We are proud to continue building a national network of personal injury and TPD professionals who share our commitment to client care and results-focused legal practice. We look forward to welcoming the clients and team members of Redlich Work Injury Lawyers into LHD, and to ensuring their matters are pursued with the same dedication and excellence they have experienced to date.”

Focused on growth and people

This acquisition supports our broader vision to grow a strong, sustainable national firm built on integrity, opportunity, and long-term value. It allows us to expand our footprint in key markets while continuing to deliver personalised legal support that reflects the evolving needs of clients and communities across Australia.

“We’re focused on growth in key markets and continuing to evolve with the needs of our clients and communities,” said James Bodel, CEO of LHD Lawyers.
“This step reflects our long-term commitment to building a firm grounded in integrity, opportunity and value.”

What this means for clients

Clients of Redlich’s can expect a smooth and supportive transition, with continuity of representation and no disruption to their legal matters. Cases will continue with the same legal expertise and care — now under the LHD Lawyers banner.

We’re working closely with Holding Redlich to ensure all clients feel supported throughout the process. While there may be some changes to individual teams, our priority remains clear: to deliver clarity, consistency, and strong legal outcomes for every client.

This transaction also enables both firms to sharpen their focus on core practice areas, while ensuring that Redlich’s clients and people join a national specialist plaintiff firm with aligned values and a shared commitment to advocacy, justice, and client care.
